Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. (NYSE:ASM) has delivered what it calls the strongest first quarter in company history, posting record financial results for the period ending March 31, 2026. The company announced revenue of $39.4 million, a jump of 109 percent compared to the same quarter last year. The bulk of that revenue, roughly 60 percent, came from silver production.
The firm reported an average realized silver price of $86.42 per ounce during the quarter, a figure that reflects the ongoing strength in precious metals markets. Management highlighted that the record performance was driven by higher production volumes and favorable pricing across both silver and gold.
Avino said the results place it among the most profitable mining companies in its peer group. The company did not provide specific net income figures in the initial release, but the sharp revenue increase suggests a significant improvement in margins. The record quarter comes as the company continues to ramp up operations at its Avino mine in Mexico, where it has focused on expanding throughput and improving recovery rates.
Looking ahead, the company expects to maintain its production momentum for the rest of the year, though it cautioned that market conditions and operational costs remain key variables. The stock has drawn increased attention from investors seeking exposure to silver producers with strong balance sheets and growing output.
