Excel and Finance Fridays this week at the library

Running from August 23 through August 29, 2026, the schedule kicks off with the popular Excel and Finance Fridays series, designed for adults who want to build confidence with spreadsheets and budgeting tools.

On Friday morning, the library's computer lab will open for a hands-on Excel workshop. Attendees will start with the absolute basics, including cell navigation, simple formulas, and formatting tricks that make data easier to read. The session is paced for beginners, so no prior experience is needed. Library staff will be on hand to guide participants through practice exercises and answer questions one-on-one.

Later that same day, the Finance Friday segment shifts focus to everyday money decisions.
