NeoGenomics (NEO) Is Up 8.4% After Q2 Profit Return And Raised 2026 Outlook – Has The Bull Case Changed?

NeoGenomics, Inc. saw its shares jump 8.4 percent in July 2026 after the company reported a return to quarterly profitability and raised its full-year revenue guidance. The molecular testing firm posted second-quarter revenue of 201.66 million dollars and net income of 2.24 million dollars. That marks a sharp turnaround from the same period last year, when revenue stood at 181.33 million dollars and the company recorded a net loss of 45.09 million dollars.

Management also narrowed the expected full-year 2026 net loss to a range of 42 million to 34 million dollars, an improvement from previous projections. At the same time, the company modestly raised its revenue outlook to between 802 million and 806 million dollars for the year. The updated figures suggest that cost controls and higher testing volumes are beginning to pay off.

The key question now is whether this momentum can be sustained. The company has been working through a multi-year restructuring, and the latest results offer some evidence that the strategy is taking hold. However, the stock move also reflects a market that was looking for a reason to believe in the turnaround story. With the loss narrowing faster than expected and revenue coming in ahead of plan, the bull case has gained some traction. But investors will be watching the next few quarters closely to see if the company can keep this trajectory without relying on one-time gains or aggressive cost cuts.
