SK hynix has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, reporting what the company described as an all-time high in key metrics. The memory chip maker recorded revenues of 79.3 trillion won, a figure that reflects continued strong demand across its product lines.
Operating profit for the quarter reached 60.5 trillion won, translating to an operating margin of 76 percent. Net profit came in at 93.9 trillion won, with a net margin of 118 percent. These numbers represent a significant leap from previous quarters, driven by robust sales of high-bandwidth memory and advanced DRAM products used in artificial intelligence applications.
The company attributed the strong performance to favorable market conditions and its focus on high-value products. SK hynix has been expanding its production capacity for next-generation memory chips, which has helped it capture a larger share of the AI server market.
Industry analysts noted that the results underscore the ongoing boom in the semiconductor sector, particularly for companies tied to AI infrastructure. SK hynix did not provide specific guidance for the coming quarters but indicated that demand is expected to remain healthy. The company also noted that it continues to invest in research and development to maintain its technological edge.
